How do I schedule an appointment?
- Online Booking: Most of our stylists provide online booking services. Simply visit our website’s booking section, where you can select your desired service and your preferred stylist.
- Contact Your Stylist: You can also reach out to your chosen stylist directly by visiting our bios page. Each stylist’s contact information is available there.
- Text Messages Preferred: We encourage using text messages for appointment requests as we can respond faster. You can message us anytime from Wednesday through Saturday.
Where can I park during my appointment?
Middletown has a variety of different parking options available for your convenience. For shorter appointments such as simple touch-ups, haircuts, or styling, you can park on North St. or behind the building in the James St. Parking lots, which have a 4-hour parking limit. If your appointment is expected to be longer, involving services like highlights, color correction, or vivid treatments, we recommend utilizing the 8-hour parking lots located on Orchard St., Canal St., or South St. This will ensure ample parking time for your visit.
What is the cancellation policy at Alloy Hair Studio?
We value both our stylists’ time and your experience at our salon. Please be considerate of the following cancellation policy:
- Cancellations with 24-36 hours notice: A 20% charge, based on the estimated service cost, will be applied or invoiced.
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice or no-shows: A 50% charge, based on the estimated service cost, will be applied or invoiced.
Please note that credit card information will be collected when booking an appointment, and you will not be able to schedule another appointment until the cancellation fee is fulfilled. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain the quality of service we strive to provide. Thank you for choosing our salon.
What if I am running late to my appointment?
If you’re running late for your appointment at Alloy Hair Studio, please let us know via text or call. We’ll do our best to accommodate you, schedule permitting. In case of a delay, we may need to adjust your service, like skipping the blowout or washhouse experience. In some situations we may need to reschedule your appointment, in which case we would waive the cancellation fee.
If our stylists are running 15+ minutes late, we’ll do our best to inform you so you can relax with a coffee at one of the downtown cafes or run a quick errand before your arrival. Thanks for choosing us for your hair care needs!
Are you LGBTQ+ friendly?
Absolutely! At our salon, we believe that hair has no gender. To ensure everyone feels safe and welcome here, we have a non-gendered menu and we provide access to a gender-neutral restroom. Were have proudly partnered with Strands for Trans to make sure we are a safe and inclusive environment to everyone!
Do you offer permanent wave/relaxer services?
No, we currently do not offer permanent texture enhancement services. We are a salon that embraces natural textures and stick to what we know best: Color, Cut, and Style.

We have structured our pricing to accommodate two distinct levels of stylists based on their experience and performance within the salon. This allows us to offer a range of service options to cater to your preferences and budget.
